TRIPLE PLAY YPN & ABC 7 SPARK OF LOVE TOY DRIVE

We Need Your Support
Pacific West and Tri-Counties Associations of REALTORS® are teaming up with ABC and Southland Firefighters to collect new unwrapped toys and sports equipment for the underserved children in our communities.  Please bring your NEW, unwrapped toys or sports equipment to a Pacific West or Tri-Counties office before Friday, December 17, 2010.

For 18 years, ABC7 and firefighters from Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties, along with the Los Angeles City Fire Department, have joined forces to run the “Spark of Love” toy drive. This campaign collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for the under served children in our communities. Toys collected in the respective counties are distributed locally. Last year alone, “Spark of Love” collected over 500,000 toys within all five counties, and we want to top that total this year. So please help the firefighter’s ignite a spark of love in a child’s heart.

How to Donate

New AREAA Chapter to be named “Tri-Counties”

Tri-Counties AOR board of directors voted to approve the use of the name, “Tri-Counties” to an upcoming chapter of AREAA. Founded in 2003, the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) is a nonprofit professional trade organization dedicated to promoting sustainable homeownership opportunities in Asian American communities.

Currently there is an existing Greater Los Angeles Chapter of AREAA led by local practioner, Benny Kim. Trico Realtors generously sponsored the LA Chapter in 2009 and have continued support.

The need for a more localized chapter in the “Tri-Counties” area has been voiced and addressed accordingly. Chapter Development Committee member, Heather Chong is working dilligently in forming this new chapter and identifying potential leaders in the local area.

As the majority of the members of Tri-Counties Association of Realtors serve the Asian community, they are excited to work hand in hand with this upcoming local chapter of AREAA. For more information on AREAA visit http://areaa.org.
